nToggle Summer Internship Program
Today we welcome five bright stars to the nToggle Summer Internship Program.
We reviewed nearly a thousand profiles to find five candidates that blew us away with their intellect, curiosity and energy. For the next 12 weeks our interns will work hands-on alongside industry experts learning about engineering, product management, and finance/human resources.
We launched our Internship Program to create a forum to mentor and to offer others the career development that so many of us have been fortunate to have received in our careers. While I chose a different path, my internships on the floor of the NYSE were incredibly formative in my career development.
We fully embrace the interns as an integrated part of our team from both work and cultural perspectives. This is not the typical program where busy work is dumped on the interns. Rather, our participants will be hands-on writing code, designing product and working with financial models. Our goal is to give the interns the ability to contribute to real working parts of our business.
nToggle has an amazing guest speaker lunch and learn series lined up for the summer. The talks are idea-focused and cover a wide range of subjects to foster learning and inspiration. Featured speakers include George Bell – General Catalyst, Mike Baker - DataXu, Kent Bennett - Bessemer Venture Partners, David Chang – Formerly Pay-Pal/Where.com, Walt Doyle - Formerly Pay-Pal/Where.com, Fred Conover – CTP, Paul English – Blade / Ex-Kayak, John Hadl - IA Ventures, and John Simon – Sigma Prime. They will share their experiences ranging from starting new companies to building teams to making Super Bowl commercials.
We hope that nToggle provides our interns with an exciting and enriching life long experience. And if you are interested in pursuing a future internship with nToggle, be sure to check back in July to learn about our fall internship opportunities.
