Neal has been the chief legal officer of public and private companies over the last 20 years. Prior to joining nToggle, Neal was executive vice president and general counsel for Jumptap, through its sale to Millennial Media.
Before Jumptap, Neal was executive vice president, secretary and general counsel at The Princeton Review, a publicly-traded test preparation and educational services company. Before that, he was senior vice president, secretary and general counsel of Upromise, Inc., a marketing service and education finance company, from its formation through its sales to SLM Corporation (more commonly known as Sallie Mae). Prior to Upromise, Neal was senior vice president, secretary and general counsel of The Learning Company, an NYSE-listed developer and publisher of educational and other consumer software until the company was acquired by Mattel, Inc.
Before moving in-house, Neal began his career as a lawyer with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP & Affiliates, where he concentrated on corporate and securities law, M&A, and venture and other financing. He has been vice president and director of Dimensional Foods Corporation, a start-up food technology company and a past director of the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council. Neal received his JD from Boston University School of Law and his BA from Yale University.
